The ARTYKWARIAT gallery is situated in historical interiors of Bazar Hotel at Paderewskiego Street in Poznań. The idea of the gallery is to face the growing demand for European art which has hitherto been hardly obtainable on the Polish market. ARTYKWARIAT aims at the promotion and sale of painting and decorative arts. It is mainly focused on the art of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, from France, Germany, the Netherlands, England, and Poland, among others.

We carry out individual orders such as searching for particular artefacts on the market, and bidding on behalf of our clients at Polish and foreign auctions. In addition, we offer our help in building collections for private and public interiors. Constant cooperation with a group of professionals − both experts and conservators, enables us to ensure the highest quality of provided services. This year, the gallery has joined Stowarzyszenie Antykwariuszy Polskich (the Society of Polish Art Dealers), and has become a member of the internationally recognized CINOA (Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Oeuvres d'Art).
The ARTYKWARIAT has undertaken large-scale initiatives of popularization of Western European Art in Poland, so far the pioneering task on the inside market. The organization of theme exhibitions has been oriented at acquainting the public viewer with the chosen issues of European Art.
